About Me
Thank you for taking the time to look at my website. Choosing a therapist can be a daunting process so it's important to know a little about me and how therapy can help us all. I was born and bred in North Yorkshire and have lived mainly in the North East. My free time is usually spent with friends, my older children and my lurcher, Finn. I enjoy keeping fit through running, gym or yoga. I'm passionate about community and wellbeing. I have worked for the NHS for 27 years, firstly as a Registered Mental Health Nurse then extending my training to talking therapies. I am registered with professional bodies, BABCP and NMC ensuring high standards and quality.
My aim is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for you to explore your difficulties, to feel heard and learn new ways to relate to yourself and others. I strongly believe that every person has the capacity to cultivate their own inner strength and resilience with the right guidance and support.
